New School Store Opens at Traverse City High School
Summer Work Program a Success at Traverse City High School
The Summer Work Program was a success this summer and we were happy to be able to provide breakfast and lunch for these students throughout the six week program!
$2500.00 grant secured via Ground Works to support healthy nutrition at Traverse City High School. Much needed infrastructure items such as a freezer, storage racks, cook ware and food prep stations will be purchased with this grant to support healthy eating education.
Thanks to all who helped furnishing an apartment for two young people, who have struggled with homelessness. Pomeroy Home Furnishings gave us an awesome deal on a couch, two beds and two dressers! Tennis friends pitched in and furnished the bathroom, as well as Board Members Erin Simon and Krissy Kernan for filling in the many blanks!
